Raining on My Parade

“Rain, rain, go away.
Come again another day.
Little Johnny wants to play.
Rain, rain, go away.”

Rainy days, they are usually associated to sad days or boring days. Why? Well, our work is usually done out doors or maybe what we find fun is running under the sun with our friends. Personally, I dislike rainy days as well. My hair puffs up more than usual and I become lazier and sleepier. I also have this problem with my stomach when it rains. It will always ache and I have cravings for food. Being an optimist, I just made the best out of the weather. Whenever it rains, I bring out my to do list for rainy days. Yes, for some odd reason I like keeping to do lists. Well, I want to share my lists to you guys just in case you're dying in your house out of boredom.

Things to do during rainy days

1. Movie marathon - I love watching movies during rainy days especially chick flicks, I'm such a hopeless romantic. Well, I love sitting in our living room with tons of stuffed toys and pillows around me and a blanket to keep me warm and cozy. I usually make hot coco and scavenge for food in our kitchen. I'm a very emotional person for some odd reason so if you're the same as me I advise you to watch sad stories somewhere private so that people won't tease you or something.

 2. Experiment in the kitchen- I have this thing for cooking actually especially during rainy seasons since I like eating a lot. I like searching up random recipes which has ingredients which I can find here at home. So, search up my little mushrooms! Have fun!

3. Read a good book- How many days or months have you actually read a book? No, I'm not talking about those heavy text books or those things you use for school. I'm talking about books that actually interest you. Do you miss it? Well, it’s the perfect time for you to catch up with your favorite series or book and just chill. Make a cup of coffee or tea and relax.

4. Make origami- I find this activity rather calming. It helps me think and it gives me a sense of achievement when I finish making one. I actually made a jar for it. I placed it in the jar so it won't get ruined and someday I'm going to give this to someone who I think deserves it .No not romantically guys... jeez.

5. Do your indoor hobbies- Well, if you’re a kind of person who likes making up songs, stories or poems, this is your chance to do it! I know that a lot of us are busy with schoolwork or work that's why we sometimes neglect our little hobbies. Well, I think this is the perfect time to enjoy yourself. Let go and do what you love!

6. Do work ahead of time- Well, I don't know if this applies to everyone but I personally like this. Instead of wasting your time doing absolutely nothing, why not do some of your school work or some of your paper works? It saves you a lot of time actually. If you finish ahead of time, you can relax and not cram next time. Also, when you finish early, you can go out and party or do something when the weather clears up.

7. Play a game- If you have siblings or relatives with you, Ask them if they want to play or such. This can be your family bonding. In our generation right now, it is almost impossible for families to have family time. So, why not take advantage of this weather and bond and play. You can play hide and seek (if your house is big enough), Twister, treasure hunt, cards and the like.

8. Play under the rain- I personally love this. I love running under the rain and do cartwheels and stuff. I feel like a kid again (I'm a teenager, just so you guys know) who doesn't give a care about the world. In this task, it is better if you are with friends and family. Play tag,  aim water guns at each other or just walk under the rain and jump on puddles. It doesn't come often so enjoy the weather and make the most out of it.

9. Pamper yourself- It is raining and you have nothing to do? Well, girl! it's time for you to get pampered. Go get a bubble bath or put on that facial mask you like then do your nails. Girl, you deserve it! This is also applicable to guys.

10. Party on your own- Is the weather getting you down? Well worry not! Put on some lively music, get some chips from your cabinet and make your own drinks. Now, you can start partying! You don't need a lot of people to be with actually. You can do this on  your own or maybe you can call up some friends to come over. The more the merrier!

Well, that's my list. It is not much but I hope this helped you guys out. Remember; Make the best out of the weather. Don't view the rainy day as something negative but instead, look at the brighter side of things. You may never know, this day might be even better than the days when the sun is out. Well, enjoy guys!

Cat- Ching!

Hey guys so I think this would weird you all out but I'm gonna talk about cats. Well, I made a promise to my friend that I would make a blog about it. Cats being rich or cats with money around them or something. Well, Jaya, here you go.

Let's start with the first picture.

Well, I see a cat who is richer than me, seriously! I can't believe the owner of this cat gave him/her money. When I saw this I literally ran to my dad and asked him why this cat is richer than me. If ever you see me don't even try getting my wallet... cause guess what! I have no wallet! yep. That's how poor I am.

MOVING ON!!!

Well this is amusing. Look at him/her! she's just staring at me with those adorable eyes saying "Yes peasant? you see all this dough? Yep! you can't have some." and I'm here just looking at all that dough and thinking "Can I be a cute cuddly cat too?" then the cat would reply "Too bad! you ain't a cat!"

OK~! One last kitty!

Loot at this one. He/She is being all organized and all. I could seriously imagine him/her saying "oh hi there! I just organized my money by hundreds. Do you want some? HAHAHAHAHA! you can't! too bad for you. Make your own dough!" and I would most probably go "pleaseee! pleaseeee! I need it for college!" and he or she would just snap at me.

So, I have no idea why I actually agreed to this but I guess it turned out well? I enjoyed making this anyways. This is most probably be one of the weirdest thing I have ever done. I guess I ate too much chocolates and drank way too many hot choco. Well, I know this ain't much but I hope you enjoyed my blog. Hope to make more soon for you guys. Bye!

Note from the Blogger

"Blog? hmm.. this is intriguing."

This is what I said years ago when I learned about the word "blog". I had the urge to make one but due to my low self-esteem back then, I didn't continue. If you already know me, you will never believe me. Yes, the Gabby who always laughs hysterically and the one who talks a lot was one of those girls who had one of the lowest self-esteem. Yes. That was me. I started to realize that life is too short to be like that. I decided to make a blog and try to help other people out there who has the same problems that I'm encountering and at the same time share my experiences that may be.. just maybe inspire someone.

Well, that's the whole story how I decided to make a blog. It's quite boring or maybe typical because I'm just your everyday-girl. Well, in this "note from the blogger" I'm gonna tell you what you are going to expect from this blog.

1. Expect random topics. I'm the type of person who like talking about things which just pops out of my whacked up brain. I talk about love then after a few moments I would suddenly talk about food. So please, don't expect me to have a theme in this blog.

2. Expect me to give tips and such. I like giving advice to others. It makes me feel useful. well, my tips are usually long and such but don't worry, I'll give a summary at the end.

3. Expect grammatical errors. I'm not perfect ok? well to tell you guys the truth, I'm not good with grammar. So if ever I make a mistake please, correct me. I'm open to corrections. I'm even delighted when someone corrects me.

4. Expect long updates. Well, I'm a graduating student so I'm quite busy preparing for college. So please, be patient with me. I'll update things when I have time.

Well, that sums up what blog would be about. I hope you guys enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy making it. Bye!

Love,
Gabby
